![]() I died to Gyoubu Oniwa like 30 times in 60FPS, then applied this patch to bring the framerate above 150FPS and I didn't exactly one-shot him, but he was dead after like 10 minutes of trying while drunk, so. The vignettes (black/red borders during stealth/injury) and loading screens are designed for 16:9, so they're not perfect, but that just comes with the territory with ultrawide and personally it doesn't bother me at all, but it's something to be aware of.Īlso higher framerates are just cheating in this game. ![]() I have a Samsung Neo G9 and I also streamed the game to a friend through Discord in 3440x1440 (set in Windows). The game is fantastic in both 21:9 and 32:9. the FOV option worked fine too even when switching FOV on the fly. Any idea who they are This is more progress in 3 months than the Windows version has seen in half a decade. Incredible update, I can't really believe this developer has done this so quickly. I'll try Soul Calibur 3 and Jak and Daxter later. I however wanted a borderless windowed version, but that didn't work properly through the Borderless window option in this FPS unlocker, so I had to put the game in windowed and after that I used the Borderless Gaming app (4 bucks on Steam, amazing app) to make Sekiro borderless and that worked great. TimeSplitters 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament are both flawless. The above mentioned FPS Unlocker officially supports versions up to 1.0.4 and in July 2023 the current version is 1.0.6 (higher), but seems to still work fine, when you want fullscreen. Google finds this old thread when searching for ultrawide/superultrawide fixes for Sekiro, so I'll give my two cents for 32:9 and 21:9 resolutions in case anyone wants to try it today. I'm hoping with some more research I can figure out a way to resize everything to fit 32:9 properly. So any time the game goes to or from a cutscene or loading screen you would see the world loading/flickering on the sides of the screen because the black box that is supposed to cover it wouldn't cover it completely. The fade to/from black can't be resized to fit 32:9 screens. The biggest issue would probably be the cutscene and loading screen transitions. I wouldn't be able to resize the vignettes or subtitle backgrounds, so those would need to be removed. I could move the HUD elements and resize most of the backgrounds. I could make a version of the mod that has partial support for 32:9. I have tried setting them to the highest they can be set to and it still isn't wide enough for a 32:9 screen. I need to hex edit some of the files in order to resize them and there are hard caps on how high or low the numbers can be changed when doing this. ![]() There are some limitations that I haven't been able to get passed yet when resizing some of the UI elements for anything wider than 21:9. ![]()
